Planet Coaster Parks / Centerville Amusement Park-Opening Day!
« on: August 31, 2018, 03:31 PM »
Looks like you're off to a good start.  I look forward to more.  Also, nice tin roof on the food court.  Those particular tin awning pieces are difficult to position nicely like that due to their axes not lining up with the movement arrow handles.

This is a lot better than anything I would make in Planet Coaster! I love the small town theme park feel, it is something that really gives a project a story and really develops into something spectacular. You are off to an excellent start!

                                                                            August 28, 2008-Opening Day!

Yes! Opening day is here! I hope everything runs well today! The burgers are cooking and the rides are running!

The first cars are here!

Our parking area has a good amount of visitors!

The park is open! The guests our crowding in!

Our first Bigfoot rider is excited to ride!

Our guests love the little food court area.

So far there haven't been any problems. We did have one though. We couldn't barely get anybody on Bigfoot except for the one rider. We looked into the problem and it turns out the price for the ride had a glitch in it making people think that the ride was super expensive to ride. We fixed the issue and people crammed into the line! Other than that one issue, the day has been pretty successful! Here is a video giving a glimpse into the day along with a POV of Bigfoot!

Well it's closing time and there are still a lot of people in the park. Sorry everybody closing time!

I say this has been quite an awesome and successful day! Many guests seemed to enjoy the park despite how small it is. Hopefully this will be enough proof to our investors that this park is destined for success! Any donations from any fellow investors out there are welcome as well!

Hey everybody! here is my newest Park Project in the works. This one will hopefully have a good story to it so please tell me what you think!

                                    Centerville Amusement Park
                               August 20th, 2008-First Beginnings

Hello and welcome one and all to the pre-grand opening of Centerville Park! This is a park that the North Georgia Mountains have desprately needed for many years. My name is George Ware and I am the Park Manager. For 2 years I have been working with The Knight Industries Theme Park Corporation in getting funding for this project. As we all know, big corporations need to know that their investment in projects such as this have to bring in good money. I guaranteed them that the North Georgia Mountains is one of the top tourist economies in the area and that many hundreds of people come around for most of the year. After these years of meetings and planning, the funds were approved and construction was able to begin! After a 8 months of construction, we have this little mini park. Unfortunately, I was given a low budget and had to work within that budget. They want to "test the waters" before going bigger. Here are the current plans for the project.

Once the company can see money going up for the park, they will eventually grant a little more money for the project to continue. So for now I have to work with the money I have and any money possibly donated and/or invested by other people, businesses, etc. Well I feel I did a lot of talking so here are some pictures of the park.

With an entrance like this, its pretty obvious that the company gave me a low budget, but hopefully we can prove to them that this park will work!

This is our food court area. It's not much. Hopefully we can eventually get a nice plaza for all kinds of food and drinks.

This is our one major coaster we have here. The legend of Bigfoot is popular here in this area so we figured we name it Bigfoot. I was able to convince the company to let me get some kind of roller coaster here so they are reasonable to a point.

And these are our 2 flat rides we have. Should be enough for now for those who want a thrill and something for our younger folk here.

It's almost opening day! Here's to hoping it works!

Great job so far.  I like the aerial screenshot of the whole park.  Lots of land to work with!
Thanks Fisherman!

Here is the latest update to the park! 2 new coasters!

Rock 'N' Roller Coaster Starring The Who

This ride I've already built last year but now I've gone back and designed it to be a little more compact and to look more similar to the ride in Disney's Hollywood Studios. Being able to compact it down has made it possible to make it a 2 part blueprint which is now available on the workshop!
You can download both parts here:
Part 1:
Part 2:

Twisted Nemesis (Formerly Valeo)

The original version of this coaster was a little longer in RCT3 and had 2 loops in it but this one is a little shorter and is a hybrid with the first couple of inversions inspired by Twisted Cyclone in Six Flags over Georgia.

Here is the POV for Twisted Nemesis!

Lastly I leave you with a new overview of the park!

Hey everybody! so this is the park I've been working on for a few weeks. Its finally enough for me to start sharing some photos of. Basically this park is what I'm using to enhance my building and also enhance my previous rides and attempt to build other rides from my RCT3 portfolio. Eventually I wanna actually give it a name lol.

So this is what I have so far! Any suggestions and comments are appreciated! I will also be adding the POVs to all rides on this post. Also most of everything you see are workshop items and are available to download as well. Screamin' Serpent however is still in need of updating as far as the bblueprint is concerned. I should hopefully have that fixed soon.

Knight Rider

Yeah, I can imagine.  I recently made a training video that was essentially just a narrated power point, but it took weeks to storyboard it, make the powerpoint, then write the script for the lady with the motherly voice to read while she went through the powerpoint, then do the video editing on the resulting capture.  I got paid for doing that.  I can't imagine doing it for free ;).
Lol Fisherman actually asked if I could explain how I made it all work too so I'm making a Behind the Scenes video giving a more in depth view of how the whole thing works.

That was pretty cool. I haven't seen a 4D theater done with PC before. I commend you for trying something different.
Thanks ShyGuy! I've been seeing different  shows done in PC on youtube and thought if it'd be possible of doing a 4d theater type ride.
That's a pretty cool show!  How long did it take to put that video together and do all the soundtrack?
It took about a week to put the whole video together, editing and all. I wanted to be sure i got the video the way i hoped it would based off of my older iterations of this ride from RCT3. Plus from making sure keeping the ride to the theme i was wanting. I eventually want to expand into more adventures that can be done like Star Tours does. The planning process for the video is actually a months worth of planning and along with getting an idea of how other people were making stunt shows. I'm hoping i'll eventually get the car to "fly" in the video if Frontier adds some kind of flying camera mechanic like RCT3 or invisible tracks or something. I think it can be done as there are some videos that come in game that show it working. It just a matter of patience i guess lol.

Hey everybody! been a while since I last posted anything. A lot of life changing things have happened since i was last here, but thats a story for another day. Here is a re-imagining of a ride i built back in rct3 now as a 4D simulator! More pics soon!

I watched it! Awesome job dude!

Welcome

Update 9/12/17:
Hey everybody! Sorry been gone a few days just finished enjoying my wife and I's anniversary. Just wanted to let yall know that there ar3 going to be 2 versions of this ride. The one that is currently available is a competition version of the ride. I was planning on doing a pov of this version of Mount Fury but the ride isn't really the way I would like it to be just yet. The main reason for this is because I had to follow certain limitations for the entry to be allowed. But now that the competition is pretty much done, I can now really do what I've been wanting to do and add without restrictions and limitations. The competition version is available to download on the steam workshop. I guess you can kinda call it version 1 or beta version, whichever, but IS NOT the official release. The official release will be much better than this version and much more how I've have been envisioning this ride. Not sure if that's a word but I'm going with it. Below you can see the competition entry video. Surprisingly, the soundtrack I made for it worked out quite well. But as I fix things and add a few new scenes, the audio will be revamped in a more synchronized way that I feel will work much better, not only for the ride but also with recording the pov as well. As for the limitations I had to work with, I wasn't allowed to use billboards and could only use a single soundtrack for the ride. That however will be changed with the newer version. That's all for this update and look forward to seeing new screenshots soon!

The Mountain is angry!

Hey everybody! not much of a picture update today. Just info. Today i made the original soundtrack that mike originally used. this track i'll be using for the pov! Recording has begun! Mount Fury will be out soon! Stay tuned!

Fixed images. Thanks Kev-vink!

@Knight Rider

If you want imgur to be embed in your post you should find the .jpg link of the pictures you want to use ;)
One option is to right click on the picture and click on Open Picture in new Tab.
For example: , ,
That way you can use that link in the insert picture here tool from this forum

Very curious what you're going to do with it :)
Are you also re-imagining the story?
Thanks for the tip! I'll try it out! In a way I am without changing the story. B)

Here are some more pics! Sorry for the delay. Enjoy!

Looking forward to seeing what you will do with it!  :w00t:
Photosuckit :mad:up:

It was very nice of him to allow you access to his file, definitely have to check it out.

Thanks! Yea it was. I'm doing what I can to stay true to the story he told in rct3. Gonna try and make the mountain feel more "alive." Should hopefully have more photos on Sunday  B)

by the  way, what is everybody here using for photo sharing nowadays? Trying to get back up to speed with things.

No! Don't trust K.A.R.R.!

Fixed images. Just found out photobucket sucks now.

The classic Mt. Fury returns. Take an adventure tof Mt. Fury to attempt to find the remains of a lost exploration crew deep inside Mt. Fury.

For those who remember this ride, yes I know this is not my ride. It was created by a community member known as Mikeyeeca. He and I have been in talks recently as I was asking for permission to give my hand at rebuilding his classic ride. He has given me full steam ahead with working on the project and can't wait to see what I have to bring for the ride. So stay tuned!

For who are sceptical, here is proof:
