wow nice additions to the set that is already so great.
only thing that are missing are different types of roofs (without walls on the sides. kinda like your stairs object)
and different types of fences for the paths/flat roof building objects that are already in the set.

other than that this set is perfect :)

Yes. The new doors will automatically replace the old ones. And if you don't want the door handles, you can simply flip the doors around, as the back of the doors are without handles.

I am having a lot of trouble getting this to work.  I unzipped the contents to the pnmods folder and launched the game using the Parkitect Nexus Client.  I can see it in that client but not in the game.  Is there something else I need to do?

It looks like a file was missing from the folder. I've updated the set, so try again. Let me know if you still have any problems.

Got it working when I install it through Parkitect Nexus, but not through this site.  Stuff looks really good!  I enjoyed everything you have done for RCT3.  I am so glad you are modding for Parkitect as well!

Copy folder "shyguySGW@Building_Set_1" into My Documents/Parkitect/pnmods.
Enable mod and install with the ParkitectNexux Client.
You must launch the game with the ParkitectNexux Client to install the set. This has to be done the first time you add a new set manually. Afterwards, you can open Parkitect without using the ParkitectNexux Client and the sets will remain installed.

Added 6 new objects, including 4 Half-H walls and a Round Roof.
Fixed interior-side color on several wall objects.

There's no template for that.

What I'd really like to see is a template for billboards, as I'd love to create some more versatile billboard objects.

the billboard mod has still some bugs. it resets the graphics to default ones after a while.

great job on the updated building set though ;)

I have fixed some alignment problems with the diagonal, sloped walls.



Also, added 4 new sloped walls. Third-H sloped walls for some new roofs coming in the next Building Set. ;)

I am in the process of trying to re-import this set so that it will work with the latest Parkitect build. I am using the new Parkitect Mod tools so that this can be put on Steam. This is a slow and time consuming process, as I have to import each model one at a time. And unfortunately, it doesn't appear that the new imported set will be compatible with the old set, so even after I get this to work, the pieces still won't show up in any parks using this set before Beta 3. All the objects have the exact same model name and in-game name, and yet, the game considers them completely different objects.
If anyone knows if custom sets imported with the new tools should still work with parks built before Beta 4, let me know. Maybe I am doing something wrong.

I have updated the set to work with Parkitect Beta 4. This is NOT compatible with the original set and any objects from the old set used in any park built before Beta 4 will not appear in the current version of Parkitect.

If some of you could please test it and make sure it all works properly with no glitches or anything, that would be great. Once I'm sure there are no problems, I will upload it to Steam. I will also be contacting the devs to see if they can find any way to make this compatible with the original set.

It's now only available at the CS Depot. (Link removed)

I've been working with Sebioff and it looks like I'll be able to update my sets so they will work with parks built before Beta 4. We've just got to wait until Beta 5 is released. (1st week of April). I have removed the set from the CS Depot for the time being.

The Building Set 1 is now up at the CS Depot for initial testing. It is 100% compatible with the old set so now if you've used it in the past, it will now work with Beta 5 and beyond.
You can download it HERE. You'll need to manually install it, which is very simple. Please let me know if it is all working correctly. I will then upload it to Steam.

Seems to be working on my end. My Disney park's gradually coming back together  :P


Definitely going to be a lot I'll have to replace manually even after you can get your other sets updated - plus a lot I think I can just do better now with some of the other mods and more experience - but thank you.

I can't help but want to show more of these silly pictures, but since I never showed the rest of the park I'd made to compare, I'll just leave it at the castle.

Which I think still looks better than before.

Just wanted to mention that I think this is the best path cover set out on the workshop. "Pathcovers+" might have covers for ramps, but it doesn't have replacements for a lot of the old "Path Essentials" pieces that I used. This does.

I also just found a possible bug. Wall-Curve2/Qtr-H seems to be at a slightly offset height compared to every other wall piece I tried.

Yes. Looks like you're right. It looks like the original model was .05 taller than the others. So it's a bug that existed before, in the original set. And it looks like no one ever noticed. (or brought it to my attention). An easy fix is just to lower it .05. You'll all just have to live with it.
